Assertiveness is the ability to express one’s feelings and assert one’s rights while respecting the feelings and rights of others. Participants will learn tips for communicating in direct, open ways to ensure their needs are met, resulting in fewer relationship conflicts. There will be a discussion of nonverbal assertiveness.
