Fair Labor Standards Act: Upcoming Changes and What You Need to Know
The Department of Labor (DOL) issued a release today, April 23, 2024, announcing that the Fair Labor Standards Act’s annual salary threshold will increase to the equivalent of an annual salary of $43,888 effective July 1, 2024. This threshold will increase to $58,656 on January 1, 2025. Beginning July 1, 2027, salary thresholds will update every three years.
